Where in the world is Joshua Tree? Joshua Tree, California is located approximately 140 miles east of Los Angeles on Highway 62. It is the home of the west entrance to Joshua Tree National Park and only 45 minutes from Palm Springs. It is an easy drive from any of Southern California's Airports. From LAX - Take I-105 East to I-605 (San Gabriel River Fwy). Follow I-605 North to I-10. Stay on I-10 East all the way to State Hwy 62 (Twenty-nine Palms Hwy). Follow the signs to Joshua Tree National Park. (Approximate driving time 2.75 hrs.)

From Orange County/John Wayne - Take Hwy 55 North to Hwy 91 towards Riverside. Continue on 60 East until it meets I-10 east. Follow I-10 all the way to State Hwy 62 (Twenty-nine Palms Hwy). Follow the signs to Joshua Tree National Park. (Approximate driving time 2.25 hrs.)

From Ontario - Get on the I-10 going East and follow it all the way to State Hwy 62 (Twenty-nine Palms Hwy). Follow the signs to Joshua Tree National Park. (Approximate driving time 1.5 hrs.)

From Palm Springs - Go West on I-10 to State Hwy 62 (Twenty-nine Palms Hwy).Follow the signs to Joshua Tree National Park. (Approximate driving time 50 min.)
